Florida’s moratorium on evictions, foreclosures extended through August

The moratorium on evictions and foreclosures in Florida has once again been extended.The moratorium was set to expire on Aug. 1. It has been extended by Gov. Ron DeSantis until Sept. 1. DeSantis put the moratorium in place at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic on April 2.The order states this does not relieve an individual from their obligation to make mortgage or rent payments.

The moratorium on evictions and foreclosures in Florida has once again been extended.
