The Verizon Foundation announced a USD 10,000 grant to the United Way of Miami-Dade to support the immediate relief efforts for those impacted by Hurricane Dorian’s devastation in the Bahamas. Following Dorian’s battering of the Bahamas, Verizon customers will receive unlimited calling and texting from the US to the Bahamas through 9 September. Verizon roaming partner in the Bahamas is working quickly to restore services impacted by the storm and the operator will stay in contact with them as their work continues.
